Lucy Shao

Lucy Shao is a graphic designer interested in education and accessibility. She graduated from the Brown|RISD Dual Degree Program in 2022 with a B.F.A in graphic design with honors and a Sc.B in chemical physics. She is interested in working in higher education, helping students navigate a pivotal yet challenging part of their lives.

 

After graduating from the dual degree program, Lucy came back to the program as the advising fellow, assisting students with questions about classes, five year plans, and student life. She helped navigate schedule conflicts, advocated for student needs, and planned out and updated meticulous five year plans for the 75 students currently pursuing the program.

Lucy is interested in continuing to pursue educational administration and advising and finding areas where she can use her graphic design skills to continue to help students.
